Head of School

Nicole Grevis-James

Nicole serves as the Head of School at Renaissance College Kindergarten, where she is committed to fostering a nurturing and inclusive educational environment for young learners. Nicole has been with ESF for a decade in a variety of roles. Over the past sixteen years, she has dedicated her career to international education, specialising in the Early Years.

 

Nicole holds qualifications from South Africa and Hong Kong, both in early childhood education and leadership, reflecting her commitment to continuous learning and professional development. 

 

As an educational leader, Nicole is committed to fostering a positive and nurturing environment for both students and colleagues. She believes in the importance of global standards in education and is inspired by innovative approaches to learning and teaching.

 

As Head of School, Nicole oversees all aspects of the kindergarten's operations, including curriculum development, staff professional learning, and community engagement. Nicole is committed to creating a collaborative community that actively shapes school culture.

Vice Principal and PYP Coordinator

Jackie Strang

Jackie joined ESF in 2024 and is originally from Scotland. She has worked in Hong Kong for the past 13 years across both local and international kindergartens in various roles. Jackie holds early childhood education and leadership qualifications from Hong Kong and the UK.

 

Always curious and fully embracing being a lifelong learner, Jackie is committed to furthering her knowledge and supporting others to grow. She is passionate about inquiry-based learning and believes student choice and voice are central to a classroom experience that supports each learner's development to reach their full potential.

 

As Vice Principal and PYP Coordinator, Jackie supports the school to implement the PYP curriculum in a way that is engaging, meaningful, and challenging for students, as well as connecting with families to build a shared understanding of teaching and learning at RCK.

Learning Coordinator

Fiona Hall

Fiona has been with ESF for eleven years across two of our kindergartens. She holds qualifications from the UK, specialising in Early Years Education, and is passionate about play-based inquiry and student-centred learning.

 

As Learning Coordinator, Fiona is committed to developing children's thinking, curiosity, and independence. She works with students, families, and teaching teams to ensure all students can access learning in personalised ways that support positive growth, in particular their social and emotional development.

 

Fiona is committed to building a positive school community, dedicating her time to building strong partnerships with families and developing meaningful family education and opportunities to engage with students' learning through whole school events.
