Our Learning Environment

RCK Floor Plan

At Renaissance College Kindergarten, we believe the learning environment is vital. Our 11,000-square-foot open-plan space features six classrooms with terrace access, allowing children to move freely and develop independence through collaborative play.

Our environments are often co-constructed with the children to foster a deep sense of ownership. Following IB PYP principles, we provide a safe, stimulating space where students use all their senses to explore, create, and wonder.

RCK Library

Our library is far more than a room of books - it's the heart of discovery for our students. In these early years, we ignite a lifelong love of reading and curiosity. Through diverse stories and hands-on resources, children build essential research skills like asking great questions, finding answers, and thinking independently. It's a nurturing space where natural wonder grows into confident exploration of the world. Children borrow books for home reading every two weeks and have a dedicated library day.

RCK Shared Inquiry Area

Our campus offers diverse indoor and outdoor learning experiences, with indoor spaces featuring an Atelier, collaborative block play, and role play.

The Atelier serves as an art-focused hub for collective thinking, research, and creative expression. Children investigate materials to provoke observation, interest, and relationships, while experimenting with tools, mediums, and transformations.

In Block Play, students engage as thinkers and researchers through hands-on activities with blocks, ramps, spheres, and natural materials. We encourage sharing ideas, collaboration, and mark making, fostering numerical, motor, and teamwork skills via planning and problem-solving.

The Role Play area provides an imaginative space for exploring real-life experiences, identities, and relationships. It builds confidence, critical thinking, and interactions through role negotiation, with educators observing interests, linking prior knowledge, and inspiring creativity.
